Update :) Sorry, still can't upload pics!

We were pleasantly surprised to hear that the Edwards were here on the east coast last week. Laurel sent Thayne a text around 1 in the morn saying they were here visiting church sites and other historical sites. We met up with them at Independence Hall on Wed, July 15. Since we didn't have tickets to tour Independence Hall with them, we headed over to see the Liberty Bell. Before we had a chance to head over there, we were stopped by ABC News Good Morning America??? (I think that's the news company they said they were with). They interviewed us about our etiquette towards those who have lost their jobs (e.g. how do we accommodate them when going to a movie, going to dinner, etc.) but we forgot to ask them when they were going to air it so we have no idea when our interview will be on t.v. or if it will even make it on there. Our response wasn't very good since we don't really know anyone who's lost their job due to the economic downturn. We toured Liberty Bell and met up with the Edwards. Farrell bought us some Philly steak and cheese sandwiches (they were soooo good) and we ate them on the lawn. They were on a pretty tight schedule so they left right after we finished eating. So good to see some family for the first time in 2 and a half months!
Sunday, July 19, we went to Long Beach again. This time we brought our pack 'n play to help keep the girls out of the sand. We also brought a large umbrella to help shade the girls. It worked really well and didn't ever fly away in the wind (probably because Alexis held onto it with her death grip)! Thayne fed the seagulls my unfinished dinner. Of course, he started off with a couple of seagulls. Within seconds he had every living seagull on the planet swarming him wanting food!!!
Alexis now has a tooth on the bottom right side. She is also getting the bottom left one. She's a super fast crawler! She loves to be chased! She is finally starting to grow some hair :) She loves to pull herself up and immediately let go, balancing there on her own; she's really good. She even tried to take her first step Sat, July 25, but fell down before her foot touched the ground. She throws temper tantrums, which makes me laugh so hard. She will stomp her foot down on the ground, then she'll fall to her butt and throw herself around until she falls over. Oh no, it doesn't stop there! She then rolls around kicking and hitting while she cries. Ha ha! Gotta love the temper tantrums!
Taylor is getting teeth on the bottom but they haven't broken the gums yet. She's relatively mellow. Tay's more of a princess, if you ask me. She is a cuddle bug, though! She doesn't throw temper tantrums :) Unfortunately, she doesn't have as long of hair as Alexis, but she will let me do her hair all cutesy (unlike Lexi)! She crawls really well now. She loves to crawl over and sit in my lap or grab onto something so she can stand up and then spread her arms out and reach for me :) I love it so much! I have been wanting this forever! I am so excited that she reaches out to me and wants to be cuddled up to me ;)
Well, I'll post some pics to go with this post when we finally get the internet. The guy who set everyone else up with their cable and internet was super rude to Thayne on the phone. Plus, he never called us back to set a time to install us, so we don't know what to do. He won't return our phone calls. He's the only one who won't charge us the installation fee of $99, so we kinda want to go with him since we'd only need it for like 2 and a half months. No sense in paying $99 for installation just to have it for a little while.
