Thayne and his family had to say goodbye to their Grandmother, Hazel Jean. Such an amazingly accomplished woman. First lady Mayor of Paragonah, killer good at Scrabble, dedicated to passing on family life history, a sense of humor, a story for every life lesson and always wearing a smile on her face. She was very musically inclined. Hazel Jean and Boyd always had their door open to strangers. My very first memory of her is The Book of Life. It is a book that she and Boyd would have every new visitor fill out. They would write their address, name and the date. I was really struck by the idea; very neat! She will be missed dearly.

I know, I know. I really need to get a life, but when your life is as lame as mine, you take a picture whenever you meet a celebrity. This is Kiowa Gordon. Got to meet him at Jeff and Lakota's wedding. It turns out, he is Lakota's brother. Don't know who he is? Hint: He plays as the werewolf Embry Call in the Twilight saga.
