BIRTHDAYS!!! And Halloween!

Jaxon (aka the little ham) has taken a liking to things that move such as airplanes, motorcycles, cars, motorcycles, trains & let's not forget his favorite...motorcycles. Oops, I guess I listed that one more than once ;) Surely that's what we should have had as his birthday theme, right? Well, this boy insisted that he wanted to do "Thomas twain" for his birthday, so Thomas it was!

And honestly, how can you say no to that face?

This was my favorite gift. This was Thayne's favorite outfit when he was Jaxon's age. I plan to keep it and give it to Jaxon's son when he is 2.

On Oct 1, my hubs turned a year older. (Pardon the medication stupor he was in). Bahaha okay, okay! I did, I took a poorly timed picture.
Birthday movie :) Bourne Legacy or whatever the newest one is called. I've lost track.
Rawr! Happy birthday to Taylor and Alexis! They turned 4 :) Aren't they so adorable? Look at those sweet little faces! As requested, we threw them a dinosaur themed birthday party. We had dogosaurs (hot dogs), a carnivore tray (veggie tray), a green swamp (green jell-o with cool whip), lava juice (red food colored Sprite), and tons of other "dinosaur" themed items. They had a blast and got spoiled, as always!
Ha ha ha ha, did we just sing out of tune? We sure did! Ah...oh well...

I wanted to let the twins have their first sleepover before we moved, and Alyssa was more than excited to fulfill that desire. It was a blast! They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the treats. Mention must be made here about the kind stranger in the store. Hope and Alyssa ran to the store before coming over to buy treats and drinks for the sleepover. When Hope went to checkout, the gentleman who had witnessed Alyssa's excitement stepped forward and swiped his card to pay for the goodies. He told Hope that nothing gives him greater joy than seeing kids happy. His only request was that she pay it forward in a similar situation. (This is told secondhand, so forgive me if I've gotten anything wrong). Regardless of the exact details, the substance of the message is still the same.
Where they all slept, until Tay started whining during the night and I moved her to her bed. Good thing I did, turns out she had an upset stomach and threw up all over her bed. Whew! Disaster avoided.
4 days after our move to Orem, we got to experience Halloween the way I remember it as a kid, where kids went around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. And this was our first year getting trick-or-treaters! Yay! We've never had trick-or-treaters. Alexis and Jaxon were adamant that they answer the door and hand out the treats :)
