Ghana Day 5

 Oh the tin can!
Packing in like sardines for our 1 1/2 hr drive to our village. Let me refresh your memories. The roads were dirt. There were potholes. Oh, and let's not forget, there were 14 of us plus Pius and the driver making a grand total of 16 people in that van for 3 hours a day!

 Patty and I teaching school

 The urinal is coming along!

The men jumped in to give us a break for a moment.

 They were so adorable!
 Making more bricks using mortar.

 Their lunch break during school.

 They were so cute!
And, they were probably covered in fleas.

Ohhhh man...this was the worst meal I had while I was there.

Fresh coconut. We really wanted to watch them scale the trees to collect these, but we never got the chance :(

Prepping to make the village dinner with them.

Jenny being tough! Carrying water into the village.
Look at those nasty decaying fish. Disgusting.

 Anya was in love :)

Notice how they're laughing really hard? Yeah, I looked like such a weakling trying to stir that stuff. It was tough!

And...may the illness begin! Can't believe they ate one of those nasty decaying fish.
The hubs being all domesticated :) Washing our clothes by hand.
