Ghana Day 6

Ha ha so remember how the hubby washed our clothes the night before (such a sweetheart)? Well, he so graciously hung them up to dry outside. Awwwe :) Well, it rained. So, we hung them up to dry inside.

Stomach is starting to feel unsettled by now. Trying to sip down a juice.

 Mmmm...pineapple :)
Walking back to what they literally called the "Poop station."
Huge dung beetle mound. Right near the "Poop station."
Didn't want to offend them by turning down food, but we all regretted our decision...by the end of the night.

 Ron getting cornrows.

BLAZE! There's a picture of my little shadow!

 Yuck!
Um, honey? Do you see their faces? Maybe they're looking at you like you're crazy for a reason? Oh, that frog is poisonous? Ah, that would explain their faces.

Just weeding their crops

Yaca root. They would mill this into a flour.

Se? Right here. Using this machine to mill the yaca roots into a flour for cooking.
Eating some local "cookies." Man, those were not like our cookies here in the U.S. Totally missing at least 90 g of sugar.

 This is the village's shower.
I was out. NOTHING was gonna wake me up.
